Froggy Fall Moment

This morning my precious daughter, Caroline found her frog hat and wanted to put on her frog print dress. My mother sent it and I hadn't gotten pictures, yet. I was eager to oblige. The weather was spectacular; cool, crisp and sunny. I suggested we go outside for pictures. Being her mother's daughter she was thrilled with the prospect of a photo shoot. She LOVES having her picture taken, looking at pictures of herself, etc.

We took several; some by a tree, standing at the top of the slide, sitting at the top of the slide. Every time I took a picture she wanted to see it in the digital display. Then, I would ask if she wanted to take more. She gleefully shouted, "Yes!" every time.

While sitting at the top of the slide, posing and waiting for the next snap, a soft breeze blew through the tree overhanging the swing set. Tiny orange leaves drifted gently to the ground. Caroline was amazed. They floated through the air all around us. And, as she gazed in wonderment at this glorious change of season, I got this picture.

Welcome Fall! A picture truly is worth a thousand words.
